Works great for me! I set the attachment as far back as possible and that kept it out of the way of my scope. I've ordered a second one so I can have a mount on each of my most used rifles. Plus my spouse can use the other at the same time.
This brass catcher works well, it mounts easy but most importantly it catches all the brass on my AR9. I like that you can just slide it off when not in use
Possibly the worst instructions I have ever seen. Few photos , none showing step by step or how to place things. No mounting order which for this part is critical. After about 30 minutes I finally got it figured out. Then the small bolt that mounts it to the picatinny rail was stripped out. So I have to run to the hardware store in the morning. It looks like it will function well assuming I get it mounted. Worth the small price I guess. I wouldn't buy another one.
I HATE policing my brass at the range, this eliminates all the stooping and bending, I'm an old dude who reloads, so brass is gold to me. Never miss a piece with this.. Bought the same thing from a different seller and liked it so much I'm putting them on others..
If you have iron sights or a forward mounted optic, this is probably good for you. I bought two of them, and I just can't mount them on my rifles. Its not the fault of the item. The optics I have are mounted where the device is designed to mount.
